Samba da Tradição em Curitiba
O Samba da Tradição homenageia dois grandes sambistas de Curitiba neste domingo, às 15hrs em programa especial no Calamengau – Fernando Lamarão e Laé Di Cabral. Roda em reconhecimento ao trabalho e talento da velha-Guarda do Samba de Curitiba.
FERNANDO LAMARÃO
Carioca que viveu sua infância ao pé do morro do salgueiro no bairro da Tijuca, no Rio de Janeiro. Foi diretor de harmonia de diversas escolas, trabalhando ao lado de outros grandes nomes do carnaval como Joãozinho Trinta. É um dos pentacampeões do carnaval carioca, com os títulos seguidos na Acadêmicos do Salgueiro (1974 e 75) e da Beija Flor (76,77,78). Também participou da subida da Unidos da Tijuca para o grupo especial na década de 80. Em Curitiba deu sua marca ao carnaval, onde foi membro da escola de samba Mocidade Azul e é fundador e diretor de harmonia Acadêmicos da Realeza.
LAÉ DI CABRAL
Sambista, interprete e carnavalesco foi presidente fundador da escola de samba Garotos Unidos e presidente da Associação das Escolas de Samba de Curitiba em 1985 e 1986 em que, entre outras ações, promoveu uma série de bailes pré carnavalescos com renda revertida para as agremiações carnavalescas. Atualmente é membro do grupo de samba Sambrasil, que toca a mais de 20 anos em Curitiba e é fundador do bloco carnavalesco Boi de Pano. Na década de 90 deu cursos de artes caranavalescas e bonecos gigantes em Ponta Grossa.
