62 projetos culturais receberão patrocínio dos Correios
Está disponível na páginas dos Correios na internet o resultado da seleção pública de projetos culturais que irão compor a grade de programação dos Centros e Espaços Culturais Correios no período de julho de 2012 a março de 2013.
Dos 1.539 projetos inscritos, 62 foram selecionados(17 para o Centro Cultural Correios Rio de Janeiro, 12 para o Centro Cultural Correios Recife, 7para o Centro Cultural Correios Salvador, 7 para o Espaço Cultural Correios Fortaleza, 7 para o Espaço Cultural Correios Juiz de Fora e 12 para o Museu Nacional dos Correios, em Brasília).Todas as propostas inscritas foram avaliadas por uma comissão julgadora composta por representantes dos Correios e do Ministério da Cultura.
A edição de 2012 reuniu inscrições de projetos de todo o País, distribuídos entre os segmentos Artes Cênicas – Dança e Teatro, Artes Visuais, Artes Integradas, Audiovisual, Humanidades e Música. Para a contratação dos projetos selecionados, os Correios irãoinvestir cerca de R$ 10 milhões e, desta forma, possibilitar o acesso dos cidadãos aos bens culturais, contribuindo para a valorização da memória cultural brasileira e para o fomento à preservação da identidade cultural do País.
Desde 2004 os Correios utilizam editais públicos para a seleção de projetos com vistas à concessão de patrocíniocultural. Esta prática foi adotada para atender às diretrizes governamentais e para conferir mais transparência à destinação dos recursos públicos, por meio de regras e critérios claros e objetivos para análise e seleção das propostas.
