Quem é que nunca entrou em um casa nova com o pé direito ou não bateu na madeira para isolar o azar? Algumas superstições já fazem parte do dia-a-dia das pessoas. É comum ouvir que nós, brasileiros, somos um povo muito supersticioso. Você sabe o que isso significa? Uma pessoa supersticiosa possui apego infundado a qualquer coisa que lhe dizem, crê em fatos sem fundamento real, segue conselhos que nascem da crendice popular. É algo que passa de avós para netos, entre amigos, de geração a geração, é a chamada história oral. Veja abaixo algumas superstições bastante conhecidas e avalie você mesmo o quanto é supersticioso ou não.
Pé direito – Devemos sair de casa e entrar em qualquer lugar, sempre com o pé direito, para evitar o azar.
Borboleta- Ver uma borboleta voar dá sorte para o dia.
Gato – Se tivermos um gato e formos mudar de casa, é bom passar manteiga em suas patinhas, para que ele não volte para a casa antiga.
Gato Preto- Na idade média, acreditava-se que os gatos eram bruxas transformadas em animais. Por isso a tradição diz que cruzar com gato preto é azar na certa. Os místicos, no entanto, têm outra versão. Quando um gato preto entra em casa é sinal de dinheiro chegando.
Sal grosso – Deixar um copo de vidro cheio de sal grosso no canto da sala, traz sorte.
Bolsa no chão – Não podemos deixar a bolsa apoiada no chão se não quisermos perder dinheiro.
Escada – Nunca devemos passar por debaixo de uma escada. É mal sinal na certa!
Vassoura – Para dispensar uma visita chata, é só deixar uma vassoura de cabeça para baixo atrás da porta. Crianças que montarem em vassouras serão infelizes. Mais uma: varrer a casa à noite expulsa a tranqüilidade
Arco- íris – Quem passar por debaixo do arco-íris muda de sexo: o homem vira mulher, e a mulher vira homem.
Coceira – Sua mão esquerda está coçando? Então, prepare-se para receber um bom dinheiro extra. Se por acaso a mão que estiver coçando for a direita, tome cuidado: é provável que perca uma grande quantia. Coceira na sola do pé significa viagem ao exterior.

Espelho quebrado – Quebrou um espelho? A superstição prega que serão sete anos de má sorte. Ficar se admirando num espelho quebrado é ainda pior. Significa quebrar a própria alma. Ninguém deve se olhar também num espelho à luz de velas. Não permita ainda que outra pessoa se olhe no espelho ao mesmo tempo que você.
Guarda-chuva – Dentro de casa, o guarda-chuva deve ficar sempre fechadinho. Segundo uma tradição, abri-lo dentro de casa traz infortúnios e problemas aos familiares.
Aranhas – Aranhas, grilos e lagartixas representam boa sorte para o lar. Matar uma aranha pode causar infelicidade no amor.
Brinde – Se o seu copo contiver algum tipo de bebida alcoólica, no brinde com ninguém cujo copo contenha bebida sem álcool. Vocês estarão se arriscando, nesse tintim, a ter seus desejos invertidos.
Velas, lâmpadas e cigarros – Três velas ou três lâmpadas acesas em um mesmo quarto podem ser prenúncio de morte. Acender três cigarros com um mesmo palito de fósforo também significa perigo. Trata-se de uma tradição de guerra. O primeiro cigarro aceso mostra o alvo ao inimigo, que mira no segundo e atira no terceiro.
Bons desejos – Na hora de acordar, abra os dois olhos ao mesmo tempo para ver tudo com clareza e não ser enganado por ninguém. Ao levantar, procure dar o primeiro passo com o pé direito para atrair boa sorte e felicidade. Faça um desejo ao cortar a primeira fatia de seu bolo de aniversário. Ponha um caroço de melancia na testa e, antes que ele caia, faça um desejo. Jogue uma moeda numa fonte. Só faça um desejo quando a água parar de se movimentar e você enxergar o seu reflexo. Os gregos atiravam moedas em seus poços para que estes nunca secassem. Faça um desejo ao usar um sapato novo pela primeira vez.
